Gallery and Museum Commissions

Before moving into the outdoor art sector for festivals and events, I developed a body of work for museums, historic houses and galleries. These site-specific artworks explore story telling through paper - transforming this everyday materials into immersive, sculptural installations that connect with place, people and heritage. Each commission brings together research, craftsmanship and imagination to create works that respond to their surroundings and audience.

Blackwell, The Arts and Crafts House - Unearthed

A paper installation celebrating ten remarkable woman from Cumbrian history. Unearthed explored untold stories of creativity, resilience and influence, reimagining these woman through large scale paper flowers.

Rheged - Cumbrian Industries commission

As part of the Matisse and Contemporary Artists exhibition, I created a playful series of paper hats and wigs. Each piece combined historical research with imaginative design , transforming materials linked to the region’s working heritage into a gallery of portraits representing different industries across the county.

Rheged - Same storm, Different Boat

This installation visualised Cumbrian’s shared experience of the pandemic through sculptural metaphors made from paper. the work captured themes of connection, isolation and community resilience, offering a space for reflection and collective memory.

Lowther Castle and Waddesdon Manor - Paper Banquets

Commissioned by these historic houses I created two fantastical feasts in an intricate paper installation bringing to life the stories of opulence of Lowther’s Yellow Earl and the Rothschild family.
